Werner Fassbinder has over 30 years of experience in the industry. After his first years as a quality engineer and project manager for well-known automotive suppliers and industrial companies, he moved to a newly founded joint venture of Beru AG. Here he distinguished himself as the main person responsible for the development of the production.
He then worked for a subsidiary of the automotive supplier Magna, managing major projects ranging from the relocation of production of existing products to the establishment of production for new product groups.
He was subsequently responsible for the entire supply chain management and manufacturing for Kaba (Benzing) GmbH in Schwenningen. The focus was on implementation-oriented earnings growth and increasing technological competitiveness. Following the spirit of Lean Management, processes and products were optimised, thus increasing the company’s competitiveness. His distinctive process thinking and his affinity for IT made the implementation much easier.
The last few years he worked as technical manager of a subsidiary organisation of a large trading company in the furniture industry. There he pushed the technological exchange with research institutes and the reorganization of intralogistics.
Since 2020, he has been a partner at Reengineering TAG GmbH.
His core competencies lie in the holistic optimization of companies, but especially in production, quality, supply chain, up to the industrialization of new developments. He has an extensive network at international level, which often enables him to find a solution in an international context. Good English language skills also enable him to carry out international change management projects and to coordinate management teams through coaching.
Family and sporting activities determine his free time and provide balance and the development of new ideas.
